Sea-Tac International Airport is located 12 miles south of Seattle and 15 miles north of Tacoma.

TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORT TO SEATTLE

Public Transportation:

Shuttles and public buses run almost continuously around the clock with scheduled departure and arrival times. The Ground Transportation Information Booth is located on the third floor of the Parking Garage.  Dial 55 from any Traveler's Information Board at the base of the Baggage Claim escalators for ground transportation information.

 

Airport Express Gray Line Bus

Airport Express by Gray Line serves the Airport outside Doors 6 & 26 on the Baggage Claim (lower) level. Departs twice an hour, with service to and from major downtown Seattle hotels.

Shuttle Express

Shuttle services are also located on the third floor of the parking garage.  Shared ride, door-to-door service from airport to anywhere in Seattle. Children free.

Taxi Cabs and Limousines

Available on the third floor of the Parking Garage. Sedans, station wagons and large vans are available. Cost of taxi from airport to Seattle downtown hotels ranges from $25 - $30 per ride including all passengers.

Town Cars:

Most of the hotels offer private town car service for guests either free of charge or up to $30 USD one way for all passengers.  Make pick up arrangements through the concierge of the hotel where you are staying at the time of your reservation.

 

Rental Car Services:

Nine rental car companies have information counters in the Baggage Claim area, and five have car pick-up and drop-off at the airport on the first floor of the garage across from the Main Terminal. Driving:

Seattle is conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate route 90 (I-90) which runs east and west across the northern half of the United States from Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania (as I-80) to Seattle, Washington, and Interstate 5 (I-5) that runs north and south along the western coast of the United States.  Seattle can be reached directly from departing either of these Interstate highways from a United States excursion tour.
